Musician seeks to gather 1,600 young people in the city of Ibagué to fight against global warming.
Among the purposes of the Tolimense Germán Sabogal is breaking the Guinness Word record.
The concert will also gather more than 1,600 musicians from Tolima.
The event, which will be held at the Conservatory of Music of Tolima, “Amina Melendro de Pulecio” will gather musicians from Ibagué, about 1,600 thousand six hundred young people from the Conservatory.
He will also have more than 100 musicians on stage, including the symphonic band and the polyphonic choir.
“The idea we have with this concert is that young people, not only from Ibagué, but also from the whole country, can become aware of the problems of global warming and how we can do something for ourselves and the planet,” says the Tolima musician, that also intends that the concert can multiply in other cities of the country and the world.
Another of the objectives of the “Green Party” and “The Andean Cumbia” is to generate a sense of belonging among the companies that are linked to the project, as well as to start educating young people so that they have a respect for natural resources, such as water for example.
To expand the project throughout the world and in all languages, the Tolima musician has thought of everything, “we will have that day to young people playing a hymn that I composed for that occasion and that makes a direct reference to the environmental issue.
And “Cumbia Andina”, Symphonic instrumental theme alluding to the union of the Latin-American peoples.
The idea is that the interpretation is done in several languages starting with Spanish, said Sabogal who also assured that that day will have a sound of more than 250 thousand watts.
That day in the city of Ibague there will be more than eight giant screens in which images of the landscape and natural resources of Colombia will be projected, as well as messages that awaken the ecological conscience in the more than 1,600 thousand Six hundred young people who will be that day in the capital scenario.
This assembly will be in charge of Germán Sabogal, who in turn will record live the concert and will make a documentary of the more than two hours that will last the presentation.
