And, secondly, the idea of disability as a synonym for failure, because people with disabilities, in the best of cases, are treated as objects of charity, taxpayers do not have the slightest possibility of influencing the development of their own lives, much less in the construction of the society in which they live and the restoration of their rights. “(Ombudsman’s Office).
The national policy for the Social Integration of people with disabilities (COMPES 80, 2004) and enshrined in the 2007 law 1145 and subsequent regulations, seek participation and promotion of recreational activities, sports, culture, the population tourist in condition of disability.
For these and other reasons, the training of pilots and artistic development for people with disabilities, caregivers and family members in Medellín, this population will help to improve their autonomous performance will help to improve their quality of life in the individual and group interaction in the use of music and its physical, psychological, intellectual, economic and social performance in people with disabilities.
The financial resources are COMPES 122 compatible, whose allocation by the nation is the percentage of the population with special educational needs registered by official institutions.
Develop a process of care and training with people with disabilities, so that through music and the interpretation of a musical instrument, they can rescue the social skills they have lost, achieving in them the development of skills based on play, talent and the development of their artistic potentialities, giving them recognition for their abilities and their specific knowledge, integrating them into processes so that they are managers and multipliers of the same and in this way make and exercise an effective inclusion.
